I was just kidding......but it seems that they really spread out the various groups in the radios. Out of the 18 channels listed - there could be 81 more possible entries - 18 out of 99 - if they are all filled - doubtful. When they are read their clearances - does the tower use their channel numbers or frequencies for departure (for instance) ? Down here - when the F16s from Atlantic City get their clearance - the controller says departure on Channel 6 - so you know they will be on 327.125 when off the ground.

Typically they will have 30 presets per radio. Can’t speak to the F-35, though. I know some T-6 squadrons have 100 presets but they only assign the first 5-6 for every ten numbers as a way to “sort” by each airport.

The aircraft guys make good bucks off U-Tube and also direct contributions.. LAX airport has two seperate groups taping live
and Miami live has fairly new one themselves and they are all investing in these fancy night cams that work great.
Some of the UK guys watch USAF bases live online.
Good for them I say if they want to spend all day or night out there.. Capitalism at its finest :)

Neat pic of TONGA-1 T-38 out of Langley doing Richmond airport appch. Aggressor colors? Rear seat empty.
