Yes the older technology does not have the isolation that for example 8.33 kHz aviation voice/data radios do.....unfortunately.

I would imagine this will be more noticeable in low visibility situations (RVR) and will require more diligence by flight crews of all types (military and civilian.

as of January 3 2022 these were statements issued by Verizon and AT&T

Verizon: We’ve agreed to a two-week delay which promises the certainty of bringing this nation our game-changing 5G network in January, delivered over America’s best and most reliable network.

AT&T: At Secretary Buttigieg’s request, we have voluntarily agreed to one additional two-week delay of our deployment of C-Band 5G services. We also remain committed to the six-month protection zone mitigations we outlined in our letter. We know aviation safety and 5G can co-exist and we are confident further collaboration and technical assessment will allay any issues

Another one inbound behind that one PAAF 391. Saw one of these C-130E's parked at Dover before.
Sure looked like a flying hunk of junk. Brave crews flying them overseas :)

Extra money in the flight crew's pockets always convinces them to fly. They can bump into Ron more often at the box stores on shopping sprees.

Personal experience dealing with Indian Sub Continent - lots of middle men when doing deals. If I had marked up aviation parts to an USA based carrier - I never would have sold anything.

This might be what was discussed in today's WH press briefing, and may get put on hold depending on the weather...

"Q With MLK coming -- ML[K] Day coming, is there anything that we can expect to hear from the President -- any type of new strategy, any plan? And what is he going to be doing on that day?

MS. PSAKI: I expect we'll have more details. I certainly understand the interest. We're dealing with mother nature here -- with the storm. And so, we are adjusting and making some plans for how he will commemorate a very important day in our history. But I expect we'll have more details for that, hopefully in the next 24 hours."

Well like the old saying goes - not nice to fool Mother Nature. You want to have a holiday - well I (Mother Nature) like to have a big snowstorm. And how you are going to stop me ?? ZAP
