USC1101 Intercepted By 121stFS F-16s

BRAVE 01, flight of two F-16s from 121stFS/113thFW out of KADW, intercepted an aircraft yesterday near D.C. at approximately 6:30 MDT (8:30 EDT) after entering into restricted airspace. USC1101, operated by AirNet Systems, performing a "Star Check" flight, originally departed from KBED, was then escorted to KADW where it landed without incident.

It appears that the 74FS/23FG A-10s are close to punching US Airspace. BLUE 61 (85-0027) and BLUE88 (83-0078) have just been logged by the Martha's Vineyard SBS-1 box.

That's correct, BLUE 88 supported 5 A-10s as TREND 41-45 from Lajes to Moody AFB tonight.

Had one interesting "catch" today. This morning BE-200 N821JS landed at PAX---a little later in the morning he took off again and asked departure for a UHF freq.

No owner is listed in the Airframes. He was last seen in June flying from the Sikorsky Helo Plant to PAX and return.
