VMA-223 deployment

Good evening,

Ten VMA-223 Harriers deployed from MCAS Cherry Point to Moron this morning. They departed between 0700z and 0800z as
MAZDA 51 and MAZDA 61 flight, with supporting tankers GOLD 01/03 and GOLD 11/13. They are releasing VMA-513 in Afghanistan.

This was their routing:

Rgr René heard on tape MAZDA 56 and 66 airspares doing rtb Cherry Point this morning.
Saw GOLD's on box as well so figured AV-8B's from there.
Looks like GOLD 03,13 did rtb Mcguire and the other KC-10's took across.
I wasn't up early enough to listen for them.. LOL

Logged few different USCG helos in the area recently. Yesterday MH-60 6037 and just now MH-60 6043. I wonder if they're rotating in for the local security duty.

Also just had unidentified GHST52 (AE0955) that seemed to land locally. I didn't hear anything on ADW or DAA VHF tower freqs.

Same here Harry....
At 2201 local I heard first EAM on 323.8, then at 2211 another EAM on 311.0. Then about an hour later at 2311 on 323.8 again. I heard the ID as UNIFY but it could have been UNIFIED as you suggest. I logged an E-3B earlier. Might have something to do with it.

Getting an EAM now by a female on 323.8 at 2341 and she keeps making mistakes. Also IDed as UNIFIED.

The freq 323.8 is a new one for me. Doesn't show in my notes and have no idea why its in my radio.

AE0944 showed as GHST52 C-12C 76-0161 out in Arizona the other day from
418 FTS.
AE0955 is U-2 not logged in a while...typo or box switch?

(0008E0) logged here as STRIKE01 10/31 2350z
Regular out at Nellis so guessing fighter type from there.

SENTRY 50 E-3 80-0138 logged here last night 0100z.
Went back to Tinker later

Could have been UNIFY btw Tech. I have 323.8 plugged in as well (although i didn't hear anything on this freq. last night). I show it as an old ACC freq in my old notes.

I now (1945 local) have BICEP 11 flt of two working in Warren Grove (283.1). A2A is 140.175.
