0759 EST- Brave 1 & 2 (F-16s, 121st FS DC ANG ADW) working with Huntress (139.7) in intercept training --must be low level activity since they are weaker than normal.

0821 EST- Have a couple of F-22s (Stomp 21 flt) working W386 (249.8 & 254.2)

0844 EST- Have acft (Monkey 3) on 267.35 (FM Mode) working with Rabbit 1 (not heard) asking to "put up" 7.243. I'm checking that on HF just in case it's an HF freq ref. Nothing heard on HF

0849 EST- SAM 177 w/Griffin CP (378.1) reporting departure from ADW w/DV-2 plus 8

0933 EST- Have some sparse acty on 285.15 which I have listed as primary "G" in the CONUS Random AAR freq set. First time any of those have been active.

0938 EST- Salty Dog 120 (F-18F # 165875, VX-23 PAX) working w/ZDC Snow Hill (236.825) then w/Dover approach (257.875) for some patterns.

0946 EST- Yoda 51 flt (F-2s, (27FS/(94FS LFI) check into W396 (249.8)

sounded like the tower said 'Warlock Nine, land at your own risk.'
never heard that before!

I think that blimp is from Lakehurst, NJ. 2 years ago I was there for USAR training and they had a secure area inside a hanger with that blimp. At that time it was blank. Also what freq were they using?

T-Birds

Guys,

Got this off the Milcom list---thought it was of interest:

Nellis AFB gets Thunderbirds display
After 18 months of restoration, an F-16C that formerly performed with
the Air Force's Thunderbirds flight demonstration squadron now sits on
permanent display outside the Thunderbirds Museum at Nellis AFB, Nev.
The retired aircraft, tail number 87-0323, carries the Thunderbirds'
paint scheme as it appeared for the 1992 show season - this F-16's first
season in the squadron. It flew with the unit through 2008.
Maintainers at Nellis AFB spent 360 man hours preparing the F-16 for
display, removing some $5 million in reusable parts, in addition to
restoration and paint work.
Since the Thunderbirds are away from Nellis much of the year, the
static display will allow visitors to the team's hanger and museum the
opportunity to view a Thunderbirds aircraft year-round.
The Thunderbirds transitioned from the F-16A/B in 1991 to the F-16C/D
for their 1992 season, according to Nellis AFB officials.

1020 EST- Got Bangers (NJ ANG F-16s) visiting the PAX ranges (305.2) & Colts (MD ANG A-10Cs) w/Harrisburg (261.525) on way to Kiowa MOA (Bollen Range)

Is that 261.525 a ZNY center freq or is it a local freq. I don't see that one listed on the artcc chart for PA. Thanks
