Direct Atlanta to KNBG NAS New Orleans.

I was fishing at Lake Anna on Saturday. In the morning I saw two F-16s over the warm side of the lake at about 500ft heading WNW from roughly the 'C' waypoint of VR1754. Later in afternoon I saw another pair but several thousand feet up and appeared to be diving down as they headed west. When I saw the first pair I started scanning my DC ANG and F-16 air>air banks but never heard anything. I've never heard F-16s flying the VRs, just the F-18s.

I guess no one was listening then. I'd like to know which unit they were from.

Afternoon pair was DEVIL 11 NJ ANG heard passing thru upper Pax River areas mentioned to Baywatch going to a low level range VR# and dropping down,last heard here fading fast on ZDC 235.625 Blackstone.

RAVAGE 11 and later 31 DC ANG were out in Pax areas earlier and using 355.800 Pax discrete for their A/A.

Seems like they're switching out about every 4 hours. At 2015, SPAD 21/22 on station getting gas from ZOMBIE 3. HAVOCs going home.
