Pat199 off of Buckley at 6:45 AM. Pat is listed as US Army Priority Air Transport (Andrews AFB). Adkad

The PAT callsign does stand for Priority Air Transport, but it is used by any Army, Army Reserve or ARNG fixed-wing aircraft on a PAT mission. They are mostly UC-35, C-12 and C-26 aircraft based all over the US, but the the high-end C-20's and C-37's at Andrews use the PAT callsign too.

Hawk 80, an F18D, just made an emergency landing. He had no hydraulic fluid and made a good "trap" landing.

Erik,

Thanks for the freqs! What do you think would be better for monitoring Mil-Air: a 996 or 780? I'm thinking of using the 780 for just Aero (Civ and Mil).

Both would work! One to search, and another to Monitor your know freqs. The 996 has a plus for adding another 500Ch's. But Thats an expensive radio for just mil air. :)
