Hi guys,

Thanks for all who replied with help to my recent posts trx1 and importing freqs.
I now have 1 and only 1 scanlist filled with the freqs on trx #1 medic1 , i have been trying to do for last couple weeks and eventually it worked thanks to you all Not to sound like i am repeating myself here...how do i do the same again and fill #2 without it deleting #1 which it does and has done each time i import new freqs to the trx ??? I have tried to change default number from #1 to #2 it deleted freqs in #1 list....so i did not change default and it deleted #1 scanlist (when ever i finish import and trx powers back on , i go look in objects and it says nothing found or scan (or whatever it normally says)

So now i am sitting at home with laptop on, ezscan on sceen , trx is on thinking and wondering if i should have another go at importing another set of freqs into #2
#1 is named medic1 #2 will be medic 2....just so you know what i am talking about lol

hmmm....thinking.

Have followed everyones instructions and help in your posts but something still quite not right . If it works imports once ok...it should do it again but it aint

Thanks guys
Colin (UK)

Hi Biffa thanks for your post...yer i am ok with this part. The prob is even when i do all the checks before clicking import i lose freqs data. To explain better. If i choose say #2 to import freqs...they will all go on the radio and i can see and use them to scan. Then when i try do another import program , say #3.....then after import copy had finished. Number 3 will be imported and can see freqs....but it has deleted number 2. Why?

I have been battling with this last few weeks now. I did think at first it might be i was not changing the default box number...so (using your diagram) i would have #2 shown , #2 would be marked on scanset ...and i would choose #2 to import and change default to #2...then import.

Then the next time i would do same as your diagram...but change default box from#2 to #3 (as i wanted to import freqs to #3 to radio.
Understand what i am doing? Is this correct or do i NOT change default box when ever i import to different scanlist number

Thanks Biffa

Redbase1 ... biffa 18 is correct. He's showing you where you also ASSIGN your objects to talkgroups once loaded. In addition. YOU have to have the scanlists turned ON or enabled* in the general* tab. You have to name one and turn it ON to assign objects to it OR they all get imported to the DEFAULT list which is always the first one. WHEN you IMPORT anything? you must ASSIGN them to a list at that time or they go nowhere or they end up in the default list.
enableselect.PNG You must create and turn on a LIST here*

import.PNG YOU must then IMPORT to a list here, you must tell EZSCAN where to import To when you import objects.

Biffa looking at your pics above You see where the default box is lit on number 1 Do I need to change this to number 5 if I am sending importing freqs to number 5 to send to radio so it will copy to number 5 ( as I said previous when I send to say 5 it will delete everything freqs in 1 and then when I start again to import freqs to 1 it will delete 5 and goes on and on and on like this. Imports then deletes the list. Cannot get more then 1 list on radio (I have freqs ready to import and everything else is all checked ready to go.

If I import freqs now to say number 5 scanlist...I guarantee it will delete everything I had I number 1 before telling it to import totally diff freqs to a diff scanlist. Hope this makes some sense what I am trying to explain. I will try take some camera pics and post Wish you guys could see what is happening.

Your second photo looks like you are confusing scansets (1-20) with scanlists (1-200), everything is in scanset 1, you don't need to change that for what you are trying to accomplish. Other than that it looks okay.

N1GAW is right. Turn OFF that 05 in Scan-SETS, pic- 2. You can only have ONE scan-set ON at a time. The entire set = 0-200, SW. Just leave the top one on. Don't mess with scan-sets as it's merely a different way to group LISTS which you can enable or disable in your default set anyway. Rest looks ok.

Hi have read and carefully followed instructions , it is now nearly 2pm in afternoon here in UK Been working on pc Ezscan programming since 8a.m. this morning.
I still only have 1 scanlist installed. It is still deleting the scanlist when importing a new list. One on one off constantly.
As said have changed left boxes etc you advised N1 , Johnny and 00eyes.
Imported to #1 (Medic1) .that worked and showing on tx screen...did same method to import diff set freqs (Medic2)
Medic2 was then imported and shown on tx1 but Medic 1 says " Empty Scanlist"

Apologies for constant posts on same topic but getting more then just 1cscanlist on the tx1 is real pain in butt.
I am going give this tx1 and Ezscan 1 more week as I am now losing patience as have been at this nearly 6 weeks now.
Anyone have a large hammer I can borrow lol
