Same "90% under 9 minutes" spec?

Is this good or bad? I think they provide a good service in Tulsa. When I was in Edmond it was ok.

I don't know if it will save them any money.

Still say there is something wrong with a for profit agency in Public Safety. They are terrible on their response time.

Correct. Public utility model. EMSA is a quasi-government agency that contracts out the actual service provision to the lowest bidder. Many checks and balances, etc, etc.

Interesting to hear griping about response times. Is the contractor paying fines, etc, for not making the spec? If not, why aren't folks complaining to EMSA?

I also have to say that the EMS serving my area has no response time requirement that I can find at all, adhered to or not.
