Today just before 8:30 am the Dispatch announced all units would switch to "Channel 5" at 8:30am, and there is no info listed for a FD channel 5 only 1,2,3 & 6. Anyone got any more info?

Did you try searching? Not a lot of places to hide in 460-460.65 and 453MHz.

Stockton Fire again switched to Control 5 today (Aug. 24). I found the freq. It's 453.275. Also it's digital. Engine 12 was coming in weal, Engine 3 and dispatch were loud.

Where did dispatch go?

What has happened to Stockton Fire Dispatch? (460.625 CT:186.2).

The last time I received anything on the above freqency was ~5pm 8/24. Did they change frequencies, change CTs, or perhaps job out dispatching?

Interestingly, it is the one signal we don't have streamed here on RR from San Joaquin county.

Stockton fire does have a channel it is 460.6000 that is sometimes referred to channel 6, which a radio or digital capable radio for interoperability. But they are still dispatching their calls on 460.625, and all tactical calls on 460.550....I could be wrong but this may help

I highlighted the word "still" in your post because that makes the statement untrue. I found that they were dispatching on control 5 for a couple of days and have since resumed dispatching on control (channel) 1.

Thank you though.

During the time you speak of I have audio recordings of all the dispatching that Stockton Fire did during the time frame you speak of, and it was done off of Stockton Fire Channel One. I am not saying that they may have been testing another freq out, or they have been using this for training. I record all Stockton Scanner traffic daily and I have at least three years of archives and so I went back and played the files, and what I heard and listened to was done of the primary channel 460.625.
