Your owners manual may state only one Trunking System per bank but in reality, one may put several Motorola II systems in a bank.
Problems:
1) The scanner will only acquire one Control Channel in a given bank.
2) How to arrange the Talkgroups.
Resolution:
Suppose you have 10 Motorola II 800 systems, each with 4 control channels and all match Control Channel Only Plan 1 (procedures are outlined in the Manual). Assuming each system has 10 Talkgroups.
Programming:
1. Set bank one to MOT II 800 and CC Only Plan 1.
2. Program the 40 frequencies.
3. Program Scan Lists 1 through 10 with the ten ID's of each system (each system would utilize one Scan List and each scan list would be tagged accordingly).
After programming is complete,
a) Press SCAN, placing the scanner in ID SCAN on the very first CC encountered, thus scanning one only, of the ten systems. It'll only stop on ID's in the assigned tagged Scan Lists. This Tag will be displayed on line 4 on the scanner.
b) To change systems, Press TRUNK which should stop the scanner on the current Active CC. (if not navigate up or down until that CC is heard)
c) Press L/O, then SCAN. The scanner will acquire the next CC and scan that system.
d) Repeat steps a, b and c for other systems in this bank.
What a headache this would be tomorrow when all 10 systems rotate the duty CC, thus making this procedure highly impractical.
But, Uniden is smarter than me

, thus providing 10 BANKS to program these 10 Motorola systems into and I never need to worry about the next day

, the scanner takes care of the changing duty CC for me.
BTW, EDACS and LTR, only one system per bank.
