Was watching the news in the Niagara Region and saw a Storm Hunters vehicle. What frequencies do they use? Does anyone have the correct frequencies for them?

He is running an old scanner also for weather radio broadcast. Is this the one Mark Robinson (TWN) uses? At a minimum I'm guessing 2m amateur radio.
Any other comms are probably via cellphone.

Mr. Robinson broadcasted that he fell into a ditch on one of yesterday's video shoots about the storm. No, was around Grimsby Ontario. Car was in a ditch and said Storm Hunters on the side of the vehicle.
Wold be nice if he mentioned what frequencies he usesMR. Robinson broadcasted that he fell into a ditch on one of yesterday's video shoots about the storm.
I guess we just dont have enough active weather here in the province to warrant a full time group of storm chasers.
Would be interesting listening though.

I am getting a bit tired of Environment Canada's overly cautious and late to the gate warning system. If there is severe weather reported or conditions that have the potential this should be passed on immediately and not with the "We do not want to create a panic" or even more lame " if we report a potential tornado we become responsible if it doesn't happen or if we are incorrect in any information released".
Weather Radio Canada is virtually useless. Alerts are sent way too late to be useful and often contain useless or generic information "Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Chatham Kent, Huron, Middlesex, Oxford, Perth, Wellington, York and Niagara regions." WOW that's such a wide area that the warning is virtually useless.
The transmitter sites are addressed individually, so there is no reason each site cannot have a customized alert with some info about speeds and times. Oh and this warning is in effect from 2AM to 11PM really?? If such is the case use the system to provide details that explain the long duration or huge areas. We have alert monitors at all our shops. We have got more accurate info from local radio stations and guys in the field that we get (if any) from the alert monitor.

Who would he be talking to? Do they have a team of guys?Wold be nice if he mentioned what frequencies he uses
