My apologies if this has been covered before...

I'm thinking about getting some MCX male to F female, MCX male to BNC female and MCX male to N female to test different types of indoor scanner antennas and was wondering if a straight or pigtail adapter make any difference as far as interference from RF sources go?

I'd think straight would be best and if pigtail, keeping cable as short as possible but I'd rather go with pigtail to not put stress on the SDR's antenna port...

Thanks in advance!

The pigtails are usually shielded, so the only real difference is likely to be that caused by having two adapters in the line instead of one.
