Strange activity on I-495 N this afternoon

While driving north on I-495 around Andover

I got passed by:

1. A Newton PD SUV, full lights on zipping north
2. A pepprell PD cruiser full lights and siren off zipping by
3. A boston PD cruiser full lights and sirens
4. Two unmarked statey with lights same story

Not sure where they got off. I was thinking exit 52 on 110 in Haverhill

Anyone hard any radio comms for this one. Just found it strange that these different PD's far from their towns had lights on

There was a large scale search for a missing person in Methuen this afternoon, maybe that is what you saw.
