Strange Signal

Hi all, As I was listening to my BC246T scanner today I came upon a weird frequency/signal/tone on 938.0250Mhz wondering what the heck it is this was at about 3:00 PM. Time is now 11:49 P.M. and the frequency/signal/tone is still on, by the way I'm in quick search mode.

Seems to be a microwave frequency

For what it's worth, which may be very little, in the US, there are trunked radio systems in the 935-940MHz band.

Thing to do is go to TAFL and do a SIngle Frequency search for Ontario.

Single Frequency Search | Spectrum Direct | Industry Canada

Then you can do a Callsign lookup on Licensee Name search from there.

Possibly, but telemetry per se tends to be in the 928/952MHz sub-bands.

That said, 938-940MHz used to be thick with Mobitex data signals (inputs 899-901MHz).
Ones in the U.S. that I know of were a bit lower in the band (935-936).
