• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Can someone please explain why Americans insist on spelling the word "DOES", dose? The later is defined as; the measured quantity of a therapeutic agent to be taken at one time, the quantity of radiation administered or absorbed, a portion of a substance added during a process or a gonorrheal infection.

Some are clearly typing errors, but when the word appears consistently in a sentence or post then it is demonstrably not a typo.

Just curious...

Since 95% of Americans are addicted to some kind of drug and drugs are measured in doses, most auto corrects on phones, tablets and computers automatically correct the word from does to dose. 1 out of 2 cars you meet on the road, the driver is impaired to some extent. Also, all those phones and tablets listen to them making drug deals and everything else, even when they are off.
So be careful on the road and watch what you say around the electronic devices you may own...
