Strange traffic on SMA 1A

About 10 minutes ago there was a unit on SMA 1A identifying himself as "Geronimo" calling the DPS Comm center, needing assistance on I40 at MM 270... a short time later he was calling "any station" needing some sort of assistance, but kept chopping out. He finally got through to Norman who relayed his traffic to Tulsa PSC, who said they'd advise OHP.

hmm, i swear i heard the lone ranger on that same id saying...tonto,,come in tonto, and then i heard "hi ho silver...awaaaaaaay". but it could have been the earthquake causing all that.

I was hearing it, too, but there was too much static to understand. I only caught a few minutes of it.

I heard it too. I think they were trying to figure out their radio. There was a big fire down by lawton and I think he went to state mutual aid instead of fireground 1.
