During the 'suspicious device' incident yesterday I noticed they're not in the RRdb. I searched the FCC website and found multiple licenses

After doing a spectrum search I found them active on this license

They're using DMR, so I first entered the freqs into my BCD436HP as a MotoTRBO trunk system. It couldn't find a control channel so I entered them as a conventional system. I'm hearing hotel ops (housekeeping, maintenance) and tower ops (restaurants, rides). I then took the FB2 freqs from all of their licenses, entered them as conventional and started hearing even more.

At first everything sounded conventional, but I'm noticing Hotel Ops isn't always on 463.725, they're also popping up on 461.8250 with Tower Ops and 461.7000 Elation Pool. I also noticed with 461.450, I hear Casino Ops mixed with Security. Then there's 451.8250, the radio shows I'm receiving a signal but there's no audio. So it's either an unrelated simplex user or the system is TRS and that is the control channel.

Looks like you might have a trs system, either that or they switch back fourth. Typically if you hear the same traffic on a different frequency it's trunking. In most cases the cc is the same.

The license is YG which is a trunked system.

You seem to be dealing with the same issues that I have been dealing with in Laughlin. What I can think of is that you have a mixture of systems, you're likely looking at several single repeaters and a couple of trunking systems. You're likely to find the license give some of this away...

License: WPJJ890 Frequency - 461.975 likely a single repeater
License: WPWI581 Frequency - 460.6875 likely a single repeater
License: WPRH219 Frequency - 460.9875 likely a single repeater

Set those 3 up as single channel DMR and you're not going to miss any action, you're still going to have to log talkgroups as you're likely going to find like I did that they'll put a few user groups on each of the 2 DMR timeslots. I would say it's best to log all this with ProScan if you have it and if it supports your scanner. I used it with the 536 and setup both audio logging and frequency logging and it made my life a breeze.

Now the other 2 licenses are going to be a little harder, WPPT564 shows 5 channels, setup this group as a system and see if you can run LCN Finder, you should have it locked in and you'll likely find it's DMR Connect Plus. One thing you'll start to notice is the color code will likely be the same for all these channels, you can't do a mixture of color codes on the DMR trunking systems, 1 system will have the same color code so it's really easy to use the color code to tell you what freqs are part of the same system.

Still trying to figure out this system.

I programmed all the FB freqs as a MotoTRBO system and got nothing. I tried single channel DMR, again nothing. I tried mixing MO and FB freqs and it started tracking a TRS but it didnt belong to the Stratosphere.

There's tons of traffic on the freqs in conventional mode but when programmed as a system its as if the control channel isnt included.

Didnt see which freq it was but I just heard someone mention the Foxtail Nightclub & Pool so at least one of the freqs is shared with SLS Las Vegas

I took the FB freqs from WPQC550 and WPPT564 and programmed them as two separate DMR trunked systems and now its tracking. Im seeing talkgroups but Im also seeing multiple color codes. Besides the multiple color codes, I hear traffic not associated with the Stratosphere, at one point I heard someone referencing a plane outside needing fueling (Color Code 10), I also heard what sounded like a security officer patrolling the SLS World Tower (Color Code 7). The license says Stratosphere but all I hear are references to SLS and the Foxtail Nightclub.

Another problem I have with this is System 2 is not busy at all. In conventional mode, I see Color Code 5 all the time which I was able to confirm as the Stratosphere last year during the suspicious package incident, but its not popping up at all in TRS mode.

So confused.

451.775/DCS411 is the SkyJump attraction ops channel -- simplex & analog, despite the FCC license for trunked repeater & digital. You'll be able to hear the SkyJump technician at the top of the Stratosphere say "3-2-1 Jump!" all over the LV area, but you'll have to be fairly close to the Strat to hear the employee at the second floor lazing zone & storefont report that the customer is off-harness, & that the tech 106 stories above can start reeling the line back up...

Elite members of the Vegas Area Radio Geek Alert Network conducted a brief plainclothes SIGINT operation at The Stratosphere last week, and in addition to the 451.775 find, got Close Call hits on DMR channels 461.825 (CC5), 463.725 (CC5) & 452.800 (CC5) from within the bowels of The Strat.
