I recently acquired a couple ICOM PCR-100's. It appears this a fairly common radio to use for streaming, yet I'm unable to find out what software people are using to do so. Anyone out there streaming their PCR-100, and if so, could you please explain the process?

Thanks!

In the past I have used a couple of different streaming methods, like icecast/shoutcast, windows media and teamspeak. I tend to use teamspeak pretty much exclusively now. TrunkPCR is the best package for controlling and programming the pcr100 by light years.

You should be able to broadcast using Simplecast/Icecast type software. Alternately, you could run PCR Remote alongside the Simplecast feed, and then people could log onto your PCR Remote server and control what your radio is doing.

Cool idea (and fun to do on people's machines), but there might be some serious security issues.

You could also contact www.dxtuners.com. They'll send you the software needed and will help you get it set up. There a pay service but you get free access and I believe a small amount of money for having the feed on there site. The pay service is in part to keep the trouble makers from continually tuning the radio without asking to tune if someone else is on it first.
