On the wiki page " How to maintain a good feed " in regards to the 4 different streaming ports; 80, 8000, 8080, 8500... Is there a streaming difference between each one, as in one may be better than another? Or generally, or are they all about the same, just different?

the first three port #s in there are HTTP standard ones (i've never encountered anything running off 8500 btw), thruput wise...there is no fundamental difference in them, a port is a port is a port. The only issue is firewalls or networking constraints, which may be set up by network administrators or ISPs. Some ports get blocked by firewalls, used by other services, or may be remapped for other use. You can stream anything you want over any port you chose, it's just a matter of what your ISP or sysadmin will allow thru.

Yes, from the server's point of view they're all identical.

You could think of the 4 ports as being 4 different equal-size doors at the front of a store, each one functions equally well and, if one is blocked you can still get in by using one of the other doors.
