1st alarm strip mall fire. Partial roof collapse. Units are going defensive. 99th Ave and Peoria Ave. 99th Ave northbound closed at Peoria. Sun City, Peoria, El Mirage, Glendale units working. Fire channel A-6, 154.310.

Going to 2nd alarm at 2323 hours. Adding Surprise, Avondale, Phoenix units to the cities already working, as well as more Peoria and Glendale units. Units are in the mobile home park to the north, putting lines over the wall.

Upon further inspection, it was decided that a partial ceiling collapse had occured, not a structural roof collapse. Many units are now being released from the incident. 0030 hours.

Holding basically a 1st alarm at this point, all others go available at their discretion.

Within 10 minutes or so ago, the last unit cleared the scene, saying Peoria PD will remain on scene until morning. 0229 hours now as I post this.

Watching the helicopter video on 3TV, it's obvious that there was a partial roof collapse. It also appears that the cause was arson at this point.
This is my final post on the incident.

Went by there about 9am, PD & news crews still on the scene. Fire must have been kept to the interior or rear as the front of the building didn't look that bad from the street.
