I been watching the GOES Electron flux. This is one component of the solar wind that influences the E Layer of the Ionosphere. If you're receiving strong DX that even overpowers some local stations on 27.185MHz AM mode the reason is electron flux has surpassed the threshold and keeping the E layer charged throughout the day. This is also reminding me of SC23 rise time. We'll find out what happens as the solar wind wanes to nominal variable speeds over time. If the electron flux holds up then we know for sure the sun's electron and proton flux is increasing.
Sporadic-E is strong!
