Evans and Milliken Fire Dispatched to a possible Structure Fire, flames 70 to 100 feet in the air, in the area of an Elementary School. Reported that the "flames appeared suddenly"
I hear similar calls concerning the gas plant down by WCR 19 and Highway 52 fairly often. The `devil's details' are that the *one* time that the FDs are called out and it *isn't* a `normal' `flare off' are frightening to consider. So... Even though the majority of the calls about `some sort of *huge* fire in the area are usually just `the plant' the FDs *have* to go out.`fun?' or not. (Usually it is a call from someone on their cellphone and is `just driving through' and isn't familiar with the area and really only just sees `some flames in the air'.)
