Came across the comment that the V.2 was in short supply awhile back, but as this brand doesn’t hold my interest I didn’t do any searching.
Today we get the idea that new V.3 is on the way as reason for drying up old supply:

— This brand became the province of the radio hackers who crank the bejesus out of components. They can’t really do anything with the V.2 (will be same with V.3), but still sell them as if they did, and for sky-high prices in some instances.
