Stuck in Search

Have had my nice new SDS200 for a couple of days. Programmed some favorite list, working well. Somehow I got into Search and can't get out. The advice in the Easier to Read Manual says "To exit Searching press Func then System." Tried this and it does not exit. I also connected to Sentinel, cleared user data and reloaded, and have the same problem. It starts to scan and then stops at Search with Scan. Over the System soft key is NFM. Any thoughts?

While scanning whichever favorites list it is searching in, press Function and then Enter or "E"and it will switch between ID Searching and ID Scanning. I don't know about any other manual but the regular manual does explain it also if you look up ID Searching.

It sounds like you have Search with Scan enabled. To disable, go to Menu -> Set Scan Selection -> Select Lists to Monitor ->Search with Scan = Off
