I just purchased a brand new 436hp. I have been listening to it all day and exploring how it works. I have been listening to many different systems and i was loving this scanner. However I have come across a problem and I hope someone could help. I was monitoring a system for a while and I decided I wanted to monitor a different system but I came across a problem. The scanner is locked on Site Hold and the scanner won't let me take off the "Hold" on the site and I am unable to change the System, Dept, or Chan. I tired pressing the Site button but it does not release the Hold. the words "SITE HOLD" remains at the top of the screen. I can Hold and "unHold" the System and Chan just fine, it's just the Dept that I can't release off of hold.

Thank You for your quick response doctordialtone. I have turned off the scanner after I posted this question and now everything if fine after I turned it back on, but if this happens again, I will know what to do! Thanks again.
