BCD436HP/BCD536HP: stuck on tactical

i was wondering why my scanner gets stuck on tactical-all agencies 853.8625 then nothing but static and it just stays there no more scanning

interference on that freq, an open mic ... avoid the channel if it happens all the time, or try turning up the squelch

Hi & welcome to the RR forums! Can you please post the Radioreference link to the frequency or system you are referring to so we can rule out other possibilities? (encryption, simulcast distortion, etc)
