Using an Alinco DJ5 radio, and a Zumspot Elite 3.5. I had set Brandmeister at one point to making talkgroup 91 static, then removed it from the static spot on my device on Brandmeister. Unfortunatey, for whatever reason, when I changed talk groups on my radio, the Zumspot still monitors and transmits TG 91. What dumb thing did I do? LOL

One or more of three things will usually disconnect TG 91 (or any other talkgroup). After doing any of these things you have to WAIT (sometimes several minutes) for the change to take effect -
- Remove it from the static TG list in your Pi-Star or WPSD software (which I think you've tried) and apply the change.
- Make a momentary PTT transmission on TG 4000, the "Disconnect" TG. You should hear a BM voice reply, "Not Linked". (This only works with dynamic TGs, not static.)
- Remove it from the static TG list and reboot the hotspot.
ALSO - Be sure you have the latest version of your hotspot firmware and the Pi-Star or WPSD software. The "sticking TG" problem is slightly less so with current firmware / software.

I'll give that a shot. I'm still new at this LOL. I never input a talkgroup to the Pi Star itself, only to the Brandmeister my devices online. I removed 91 from static. I'll give the disconnect a try. Thanks much!

Disconnect doesn't work. My Zumspot is spotty connecting to Parrot, and no matter what group I'm on, Worldwiide is coming in. Did the update on it, the only thing I changed in expert was the TX/RX offset which greatly improved D Star and DMR. However being stuck on receiving Worldwide is drving me nuts. I also did a reset connection on the Brandmeister site.

As an experiment, try switching master to something else, and adding a semi random static tg. Open the last heard or talk group view on that new TG to see if you're connecting to the new TG.
