Until recently I thought it was only half a dozen ECCs, Riverside Unit being the largest, but apparently a number of Cal-Fire ECCs perform both fire and medical priority dispatch for a number of the counties for most fire/EMS agencies not just Cal-Fire. The ECC gives both fire & medical pre-arrival directions. Unfortunately, some cities operate their own PSAPs who don't render MPDS.
