Successful Anker Bluetooth Pairing

Was able to successfully pair this Anker bluetooth external speaker with the P25RX-II. Allows for simultaneous audio from the laptop's internal speakers and the remote Anker. This particular Anker speaker is a little on the bassy side since it was designed more for music--- anyone familiar with any BT compatible speaker that might be a bit more "voice friendly"? Thanks.

A while back, I used these console commands to reduce some of the bass to a line out amp on my P25RX. I do not recall if they changed my bluetooth audio.

High Pass Audio Filter (starting with version 2021-09-30_1053)

hpf_cut 0.0 (default)

hpf_gain 1.0 (default)

If you would like to boost the high frequencies (cut the low), then try:

hpf_cut 0.5

hpf_gain 2.0

I would agree, I have the exact same BT speaker and yes to bassy. Must find a BT speaker that is a little better. I have a small digital speaker in the car that I can use on the P25RXII line out audio provision, but I need to use a headphone amp to drive it.....

With all the recent changes, the hpf_cut command will not work as expected with newer firmware versions. I will add this to the list of things that needs to be done.

The soundcore app allows you to change the settings of the speaker. Turn off bass up, adjust the equalizer as needed.

I have a couple of those speakers and several mini 3. In party link mode, I hear the BT throughout the house. Really nice function.

That is good to know! I didn't know about either of those features.

I'm using 2 Anker Soundcore Mini 3 bluetooth speakers on 2 different P25RX radios. With the bass boost off and the equalizer in their app set to voice, these make a great addition. I got them in different colors so I can tell which radio the audio is coming from if I move them away from the laptop.

I use a 2BOOM bluetooth speaker sounds good just the slide volume in the P25RX-II configuration software doesn't work well and the indicator light not right intermitted in this latest version I also get a lot of noise when no one is speaking sounds like chips working or like the Uniden SDS200 before it was fixed.

You might try doing a 'factory' command to reset to defaults and see if that helps. I debated about even adding the Bluetooth "volume control" on the P25RXConfig tab. It is probably best to leave it at 1.0. You should control the Bluetooth volume on the speaker of playback device itself. I'll check into what changed about the signal indicator in the latest version. Someone else mentioned something about that. It isn't something I have noticed here.

I have used a Anker Soundcore 2 and Oontz Angle 3. They both work well but as noted are a little bassy.
I read @kb8q post about the Mini 3's having adjustable equalizers. I ordered a black one and it sounds very good. I also have two P25RX P25RXll
so I ordered a blue one as well. Thanks for the tip.
