Suffolk County, Atlantic City Trs Issue 851.3500 ? ? ?

I am traveling to NJ this weekend and put a few systems into my radio. One of the systems is the Atlantic City trs shown here. Atlantic City Trunking System

I enabled them to see that everything is in order and I am getting a strong Motorola cc on 851.3500.

The problem is that I am in East Islip. And the other problem is its showing site id 3D0Ch-0001, Suffolk County Trs I also see Suffolk police tgs. 272, 57776, 2480, 60848, etc.

I created a system with 851.3500 and set it to cc channel only and get nothing.

How is this? I there a logical explanation or is this Br330t starting to sh$t the bed?

Attatched is a video showing what happens when I manually scroll to 851.3500 from within the Atlantic City trs. It does display 851.3625. That freq is an alternate cc channel for Suffolk but I am in the Atlantic City trs and 851.3625 is not part of that system

Are you trying to monitor non-law enforcement talkgroups? According to the RRDB, police are digital and everything else is analog. Your BR330T won't decode the P25 groups.

Dave, I am aware that there is digital on the Atlantic City trs. I have programmed analog tg's.

The problem is that a frequency that's part of the A C system, located in New Jersey, is giving a strong cc here on Long Island and that freq, 851.3500, is not part of the Suffolk County NY system. And it is displaying site id and tg's that are part of the Suffolk County system

If you watch the video again, you will see that when I am in the NJ system, and manually scroll to 851.3500, the signal meter comes alive, a site id is displayed and that the tg,s that appear, are from the Suffolk County trs on Long Island, where I am now.

Is 851.3625 (.0125 kHz up from 851.3500) an active control channel in Suffolk?

Yes, 851.3625 is a cc on the Suffolk trs. I am surprised that being off by .0125 kHz it would display the site id and the tgs.
