Suffolk Fire Dept Freqs in Database?

Hi All:
Anyone know if the freqs listed in the Suffolk database under "fire districts" are pretty up to date? I figured I would check before I start loading them into the scanner. If not, anyone have a more up to date list?

They are not up-to-date, nor are hardly any of them active. I'll PM you a list.. Let me go and develope one for you.. Give me a few days, where are you located?

YES they are accurate AND active I live in Suffolk County and listen to them DAILY. Now if someone would update the Nassau list

For Suffolk County fire, try Donald's site http://www.freewebs.com/suffolkcountyscanning/. Sometimes it seems as if he knows what they're going to do even before the departments make their decisions.

Is there a reason why the RR.Com data base for Suffolk/Nassau Counties are outdated?
I wish I could contribute, but I would be at a loss. If there are updates available what is the process to update the RR.Com database so all members can benefit from this information?

I have Nassau County FD list that's up to date. It's in a WIN 97 and WIN 92 file. If someone knows how to foward this info to RR, I'll be happy to do so!!

The Nassau County PD and the local non-county PD frequencies are in my WIN files too.

There is a link on the database page that allows you to update the information. Why don't we go ahead and update the freqs and info there. Seems like with all the knowledge and experience we have here, it would be easy to have a real useful database for Nassau and Suffolk. If you have a Uniden radio and the Butel software, it makes it real easy to import the freqs from the databse into the scanner!

I just sent my info for Nassau County fire depts and other county PDs in. Unfortunatly I don't have the FCC license info to go along with it, but, I hope that it is of some help to the database

Great, I'll keep an eye out for the info. I don't see it posted in the database yet, guess it takes a while before it gets in there. Anyone else with current info? Some areas are really lacking.

134 OTHER updates ahead of what I put in... no big deal.... I'm sure that the integrety of this site is WELL worth the wait for the information to be looked at, formatted, and placed in the proper database. You can't rush a good job!!
