I set my 330 with the whole suffolk 800 MHz system and set it for id search.
I came up with these that are not listed in the data base.I have searched around but found nothing.
Does anyone know what they might be?

That would not make a difference - in open mode it will receive whether they are programmed or not. You would still get audio

Did you hear voice traffic on all these groups?
I was not home I left the uniden software logging for 2 days with everything programmed thats listed in the database and then set it to id search.I found all of the above and they had no description associated with them(meaning they are not in the database).
I have heard voice on some but was not quick enough to catch the id.I also hear what sounds like data bursts like a mdt or pager on 24016

I am going to leave it logging both audio and id tags and see what happens

The reason I asked if you heard any traffic on the groups is that my 245XLT used to stop on various talk groups that never had any audio, it just stopped there and moved on. My 246T does not seem to do this, maybe yours is doing the same thing?

A Few Other TalkGroups

Yesterday I heard transmissions on 22928. On my Pro-96 I also heard Very Clear and Distinct transmissions and the word "Digital" was displayed instead of numbers.
Going over the Suffolk County TRS @ RR.com I noticed some new TalkGroups with the word " SUV " after the designated TG #'s. Does SUV stand far a "generic" vehicle or something else. Any help identifying these "TG's" would be appreciated.

My SCPD source has no idea what SUV refers to but dave3825, code 32 in SCPD speak, is prisoner transport
Thats what I thought, but this guy just said headquarters are you on the 800 MHz radio he did not use a unit number .And by the way he said 800 MHZ radio I would think he does not use that radio often

Sounds like (maybe) he or she made HQ switch to that talkgroup to give him/her that message...I don't really receive Suffolk radio that well here in Nassau--no roof antenna, thanks to my home owner.

22928 was quite active earlier this evening. The transmissions were all digital.

I normally listened to the Suffolk PD on my Pro-93. I bought the pro-96 just because I got such a good deal at a closing radio shack. At first I figured I was just tossing money away even with the good price but after listening the past few days there is more digital than I realized.

Granted maybe 95% or so of the transmissions are analog but what is digital makes for VERY interesting listening.

My Pro-96 is On 24/7 and I monitor Suffolk County TRS most of the day(night included).
There are more digital transmissions every day, with many TG's not identified @ RR.com.
And most of the Digi Trans are SUV. Very interesting listening.

I can confirm 2000 is active also. Heard today at work on my Pro-96 which never gets a false talkgroup come up (unless the control channel is not at a decent signal level of course).
New talk group to me.

Not that I can receive it, but you guys are saying digital correct?
The only thing my crummy reception allows me to get is a few ENC talkgroups-encrypted -hence nothing I can truly listen to --again no external antenna on my part.
Reason I ask I never realized Suffolk had many digital groups....hey live and learn.

Try this: the one thing RS seems to be good for lately, and it's going fast - Police Call. Some info matches, some differences, but enlightening none the less. Some of your logged tgid's fall into the precint "pattern" and are probably tactical use in those pcts. Combine the three lists (Police Call, rr db and your loggings) and it'll probably shed some light on your hits, then monitor and update the db! Keep us informed (I miss my home...)
