Suffolk PD Going Encrypted?

Hey all,

Does anyone know if Suffolk PD is planning on going fully encrypted anytime soon? I know Nassau PD did a few years ago and NYPD is about to and I'm worried Suffolk is going to be following in their footsteps.

From what I hear through the grapevine

All dispatch will remain in the clear. Tactical, detective, narc and all other special ops will be encrypted
