Suggestions

Hello!

I'm looking for your input on what is currently the best recommended handheld scanner for basic use monitoring police fire etc. I live in MN and need digital. For a while I was looking at the. RadioShack pro 651. I'm not finding many for a decent price any longer.

What do you guys use or suggest me to look at? Hopefully something easy to program with software and downloadable freqs etc.

Where in Minnesota are you? The systems used in your area will dictate what radio to buy.

Thank you for the reply. Goodhue County will be my primary listening area. But I am very close to the Twin Cities and other areas and may want to listen to them as well.

I love the BCD325P2 and the BC436HP. The Whistler TRX-1 is also a good one. I don't think you would go wrong with any of those 3.
