Started about maybe 6:15PM tonight. Wife was scared, hid under trash can for over an hour and then went to a neighbor's house. As she was going to the neighbor's house, she heard a gunshot. She stated to the Sheriff's office that her husband was in the house, who she was scared of, had made a statement that was was going to commit suicide. Units responding remembered that in the past they had to take this person into custody at gunpoint. Numerous attempts by wife, Sheriff's office and deputies on scene to call the house with no answer.

Somehow they found out the subject has a new scanner, so detailed traffic will not be over the radio. (Nice...another reason to encrypt more.)

Around 7:20PM, unit 120 called for CRT (critical response team??), unit 101 to respond, and for a medic unit to all meet at Hedgesville FD.

I think this is going to be 1628 and/or 1624 Cannon Hill Road in Hedgesville.
