Ladies and Gentleman, it is time for another scanner meet. :D

Date: July 12th (Sunday)
Time: 12pm-4pm
Location:Lil Riccis Ny Pizza (Located in Centennial)
Address: 15352 E Ida Dr Unit H, Aurora, CO, 80015

Just a friendly reminder, pizza and drinks are served during the event. Luke only asks $5.00 per person for all you care to eat and drink. If pizza isn’t your thing, or your craving bread sticks with pasta, his restaurant does have a full menu to order from, just ask.

For those of you who have not attended our meets in the past, this is a wonderful event where members of Radioreference.com and other radio enthusiast can get together and meet each other, and talk about scanners and whatever else comes up. Scanists with new radios are welcome to ask as many questions as they can. We all learn from each other and this face time with each other is invaluable.

For those who have attended prior meetings, give us some feedback here! If you have an idea, share it with us! We want to make these meetings fun and informative at the same time.

Here is some advice /feedback from prior meetings. Start writing down your questions and bring them, along with a pad of paper and pen to write down the answers. The most common heard statement is, “gee, I have so many questions, but I can’t remember them right now.” Also, if you can, bring your laptop that you program your scanner with. Many questions deal with how to program scanners using software. I can’t express how much easier it is to help someone by walking them through their software while showing them what to do vs. just telling them. Of course, many of us bring our computers to help program scanners, along with showing off how Pro96Com works.

I am going to try my best to be there. I use to work for Luke at Lil Riccis so it would be great to see him and the restaurant again. I will also like to meet fellow 396XT owners who live in the metro area.

Can you give me directions?

I lived in Aurora several (over 30) years ago...but the new things built all around now have me baffled...we lived in Aurora Hills...between Mississippi and Alameda...will I have to get on E470? I despise toll roads...please help...you say this is in Parker, but its in Centennial? I am confused...I need help with my Pro97 hand held scanner...retired from police records, but have been listening to scanners since my teens back in Omaha, and on a AM/FM All band radio for years. Then had a base scanner that is pretty much useless now since all the agencies have gone to the high high frequencies.

Just joined this as a friend I worked with told me about ScanAmerica, and this Saturday she told me of the change to RadioReference. I am anxious to hear the Arvada/Westminster broadcasts. Also Jefferson County.

I'm not sure what your route would be but I would think you could avoid tolls. Have you done a point to point Google search? I think Arvada / Westy & Boulder are about the only agencies you can get with your Pro97. This is a great site and you can expect expert help in the Colorado and all forums.

I thought the meet was great yesterday.

We were short handed at the restaurant yesterday, so I had to be waiter, busser and host, so I didn't get to talk to everyone as much as I would have liked.

The feedback I got from everyone was good, and as always, it was good to see everyone again.
