1. not sure why 2017 freq lists are listed - why not 2020 lists?

2. not sure who or what UCRIFMU is - see pg 65 of 119 for their freq list - might be Upper Colorado River Interagency Fire Management Unit - which might be a mixture of BLM and USFS and other federal wildfire resources

3. do the repeaters have PLs on outputs or not? freq list mentioned above might be listing PLs for mobile and portable radios - not the repeaters (FB2)

4. WRF South shows as 171.3625R with 164.70 input - both new as 2017

5. WRF North shows with input of 164.20 - new as of 2017

6. 172.1125 R shows as 1 base plus 5 repeaters plus 1 temporary repeater

7. BLM Fire Tac is 169.2875 - RR has this listed under GMF - seems to apply to entire UCRIFMU

8. WRF Fire Tac shows as 166.675 - new for 2017

9. BLM Work is listed as 168.35 CSQ

10. WRF Common Work 1 shows as 168.6125 PL 0.0

11. Pueblo A/G 166.9375 is listed as secondary

Items 4 to 11 are all different from info shown at RRDB

I'm guessing there haven't been any changes since 2017, but that's guessing. The reason so many changes have occurred to fed systems in the last 5 years is to comply with the new VHF band allocation. Looks here that they made their 2019 due changes in 2017 so probably no reason to change since then. I have a lot of this type of material and tried to submit it when I found current year stuff. The reaction from the editors is that it all has to be field checked prior to changing the DB. Trouble is the RRDB is showing info that is known to be outdated. So they want stuff that was field checked 5+ years ago that was current at that time and is likely 100% wrong now instead of new info from official sources that is likely 90%-100% correct now. They suggested that the official source info be posted in a forum thread so that people local to the area field check it. I've since run out of energy as taking care of my elderly parents can take a lot out of me, so I have not followed up on the suggestion.

The WRF work frequency is one of the 4 new federal govt. wide itinerant freqs. added after the 2005 federal narrowband requirement. It is not uncommon for different zones in a state to reuse AG freqs. The distance and topography between the Pueblo dispatch zone and the Upper Colorado dispatch zone are considerable so it is unlikely that interference would occur.

Thanks, I wonder why Summit County didn't use the 2019 info instead of 2017? If it was my decision I would have relabeled the 2017 as 2020 and gotten rid of the red highlights for changes made back then.

Good guess on what UCRIFMU means. There are other places on the internet that confirm your interpretation. In many places the BLM & USFS have integrated their fire organizations. A BLM division chief might be supervised by a USFS fire management officer of a National Forest and might have both BLM and USFS battalion chiefs working for him. Colorado has a few places where a USFS district ranger doubles as BLM Field Manager as well. There are some big differences in the laws that govern each so being both at the same time requires intelligence and willingness to do more. Signed/Dad.
