i just got my Yaesu vx-2 and it appears that anything in the 150.xxx range and up works just fine. but anything from around my area thats over 400.xxx comes in with a lot of static and as if its continually transmitting. ive messed with the squelch and still cant pick up anything over 400.000 mhz. my radio shack scanner picks up everything just fine but the yaesu is giving me problems. any ideas?
