The multiplier logic in the post above would indicate 2201 would be Tallmadge PD (2201*16=35216). I'm not aware they were capable on this system. Keep listening and record if you can.

Tallmadge and Mogadore share the Tallmadge PD talk group. Mogadore is evaluating P25 radios, that's why you're seeing the activity. Neither have deployed P25 radios.

Remember, all talkgroups in the P25 system in its current state are a multiple of 16 of their SCA8RRS counterpart. 3611*16=57776 -> MERC CALL.

A bunch of FCC changes were granted last week. They look to be adding P25 capabilities to the analog channels on the current SCA8RRS (non-P25). More move prep under way!

Summit County -Akron 800mz Regonal Radio System .
In other words, the existing Summit -Akron system will become the Summit-Akron P25 System.
And this thread is titled to confuse the readers, it really is not specific to New Franklin .
We need to edit the title or close the thread and start a new thread, called
Summit-Akron P25.

Should close this thread and use the Summit County 800 System sticky.
