Same day as you mentioned above, but on 6586 around 2155z, NY atc looking for two aircraft Canjet 947 and Jetblue 788. ATC was asking other planes in the area to try and contact them on VHF guard or air to air. Eventually Jetblue did contact atc, but never heard the Canjet. This was the most interesting HF aero I've heard. NY atc was coming in loud and clear, but pilots were faint, typical of my listening setup. There was also reference to SIGMET M2.
