Im in Sunnyvale, and am considering geting a Digital Trunking Handheld so i can listen to Santa Clara and the SO. Any recomendations and the ease of programing these systems?

GRE or Uniden digital trunked handheld, and the ARC programming software.

Then if you are a member of RadioReference, you can download the frequency/talkgroup programming directly from the RR database, into your scanner with about 2 clicks.
