SUNRISE PD digital ?

a friend told me an officer of sunrise pd has said that they have new radios, that are possibly digital. could anyone enlighten me if this is true? Their 26160 main dispatch has no more traffic. or are they still analog ?
any info would be much appreciated.

Sunrise didn't change; Broward County Site 1 rebanded, which is why you no longer hear any traffic.

In short, you need to enter the new control channels, and it should start working again.

Most cities in Broward including Sunrise have began switching to APX radios. However they haven't gone digital.
