Anyone have any info on a system called the Sunshine Trunked System in the Philadelphia area? Thanks in advance.

They have a few systems it seems. Do a FCC search and you'll get a page full of sites for them mostly out of Collegville, PA. I tried to monitor some of the freqs and no JEFF STAT so far or any control channels, picked up a quarry/supply co., local auto parts store, some type of limo service. I don't think JEFF STAT is getting any flights with Penn Star, Med Evac, SkyCare, NJSP South Star and DSP Trooper 4. If there do anything it's probally inter facility transfers.

WPIC287 is used by companies in and around Philadelphia. A company I did business cards and flyers for was on this system, the name was Mellenium Taxi. Their license hung in their office with this callsign on it.

No one has heard them on this system yet but I believe they are not working too much.
Many of us are listening to the input freq's in hopes of snagging them but no luck yet.
No one has the LTR info to attempt to track these systems as of yet.
i believe we'll have a better chance catching them on an ATC freq first.

I guess I'll record that freq and see how often they come up. I ran an FCC search thinking they must have a ground station in Philly but came up empty.
Then I ran Delaware and came up empty too...but know they have a base station in each county.

Has anyone noticed a control channel or brief keyups every 1 to 10 sec on any of the frequencies?
If there are brief keyups and you cannot trunktrack it with a scanner that supports LTR then likely this is a multiple site Passport LTR system.
I am interested in VHF Passport LTR systems and will be going to the area next month.

Likely it is Passport LTR, which like Multi-Net LTR, is not trunktrackable with a scanner. However with a low-pass filtered data slicer and LTRTrunk/LTRDump they can be trunktracked. I trunktracked the Chester Co Multi-Net system when I was at the SWL Winterfest in Kulpsville.
I am going down to the Wilkes-Barre area in a few weeks so I should swing down to the Philly area and give a listen. Logging the system will greatly help with the development of LTRTrunk/LTRDump.
