Supertrac

Just did a search for " Supertrac" in this forum with no joy.

The PSR-500 has an option called Supertrac that is off as a factory preset. The only description in the manual says it's a alternate algorithm to help DSP decode on some systems.

Is there a specific system it is meant for? Has it shown improvement for anyone?

I had tried it very early on when I got the scanner and it did not make any difference on the CT State Police.
I have not tested on any other systems.

SuperTrack on the Colorado statewide P25 system does not appear to make any difference. I keep it turned on just in case.
