I'm here a lot
I'm suprised too !
Finally, some people who are actually happy with their radios. :D

It seems like most times people only speak up about their gripes and
self-created problems. :(

Good to hear something positive for a change. :D

Quality recievers are great but the best reciever (scanner) in the world won't perform well without good antenna and cable. :)

I have on old Pro-2004 with an RS discone up 15 feet and good low loss cable (can't remember if it;s Belden 9913 or RG-213).

Also have a Pro-95 for portable/mobile use. In my Freightliner, I have a mirror mount antenna feeding the -95; does fairly decent job despite the 10 ft RG-174 feeding it.

Speaking of being suprised, with my PRO-2052 and the RS discone ant., I thought I would be able to monitor most of the airshow here in SC, about 30-35 miles away from my location and it worked very well. However, I needed my PRO-95 to monitor the VHF High(140's) in AM mode. To my suprise, I also recieved the UHF transmissions used by the Thunderbirds during the show on my 95 (via Win95). w/ the RS 800 mhz antennae. :!:
