Was at Midway Airport yesterday and the updated dB on my 436 was not showing the Cap+ system for SWA. It had the conventional DMR channels for SWA but no sign of Cap+. I do have the DMR key (and use it regularly). I tried enabling different service types, but to no avail. Checked all avoids (which I wouldn't have there) also. Thoughts?

Edit - added info

Must be a programming issue, I've been listening to them all morning.

May be time to do a force rewrite.
No idea, I self-program and don't depend on database uploads. Maybe something in the transfer? I don't know, but nothing has changed with the site information for awhile now. Color Code, LCN's are just a few things I'd check in the scanner. Were you at the airport or trying to monitor from near by? It's not a very strong system is why I ask.

I didn't self-program since we were on a trip and was monitoring from B Terminal. I just now enabled Full dB again and went into system hold on the scanner and no Southwest system. The Midway system has the conventional DMR channels on it, which I did hear while there.

Yes, that's what they refer to as T-Point, which is the baggage alley under the terminal. When the system was implemented, they had issues with Cap+ coverage down in the concrete jungle, so they added a simplex DMR channel.

If everything is programmed correctly, you might have been getting interference in the terminal, or not in range of the system. I've been listening with the on-again, off-again storms today, and a weather event is always very interesting at airports.

Just to be clear, this wasn't a reception issue, rather the system doesn't appear on the scanner's version of the dB at all.
