This may be a bit of a stupid question but I will throw it out therr anyway.
I have a number of scanners and only one antenna. I am therefore trying to come up with the best way to connect the scanners to this antenna. I would prefer to use a Multicoupler but will have to wait a few months for that.
in the meantime I was planning on connecting the scanners to the antenna by essentially daisy chaining them with T connector type splitters and living with the associated losses. It than came to my attention that I have a SWiM ODU Only box With a freq range from 2 to 2150 Mhz and an insertion loss of 1.5 dB. Will the use of this box to attach a few scanners to one antenna rather than daisy chaining them with T connectors, give me better (or marginally better) performance?
Thank you
