I live in Syracuse, IN which is between Warsaw and Goshen. I'm not sure of the train frequencies. On one site it's listed as CSX, and another it's Norfolk-Southern. To top it all off, there are all sorts of different freqs for both. I want to be able to scan/monitor train communications for the line that runs through Syracuse, IN. If anyone can help me it would be very much appreciated.

Syracuse RR channels

Well, the page says NS & CSX because they're both correct. NS operates the north-south line that runs out of Goshen, through Warsaw, and on into Anderson, known as the Marion Branch. The two frequencies most commonly used would be 160.800 and 161.070.

CSX operates the east-west line that runs through Syracuse. Road channel is 160.230, dispatcher is either on 160.290 or 161.370.

These lines cross each other at Milford Jct., the crossing being a couple hundred feet east of where 15 goes over the CSX line.
