Today I programmed the system into my 396T and I finally got an ID other than Los Angeles Utility. So it is definately this system: http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=3958
I heard a lot of activity today too.
It starts at 8:45am with radio checks being done on TG 400. "Guardian-J6" called "Knight-16" (could be Night), "Liberty-16", "L-06" (El Zero Six), "Myers-6", "Eagle-06" and what sounded like "Sector-06".
8:52 All stations are requested to stand by.
8:56 "Standy by for the Commanding General"
Then a slew of people respond with their callsign and "Roger, out". They were "L-06", "Rock-06" (probably ROC actually), "TOC-06", "Knight-06" and "Liberty-06".
The CG then comes on and explains the purpose of this test, an alternate means of getting in touch with all these units. He mentioned something about DEFCON "C" too. Then comms drop, but the TG was still active.
"Hill-06" and "Detrick-06" then explain to "Guardian-J6" that they didn't hear all of what the CG said. J6 said it was probably because the CG was transmitting for more than 30 seconds without a break. J6 explains that the CG was telling them that the exercise had been terminated.
I imagine all these "6" suffix refer to the S6 shops at each location and of course Guardian-J6 would be the J6.
9:13am TG330 Hear "Myers 474"
9:37am TG851 encrypted
11:45am TG306 "Test, 1, 2. Test, 1, 2."
Later TG 852 came up encrypted.
The last TG I found today was 485. Some guy named "Sgt Jackson" was talking to "Operations". There was discussion about vehicles inspections and then a while later, there being only 8 vehicles left in the parking lot. A mention of "Myers" too.
